We lost 4 trees, destroying our patio cover, hopefully all covered by insurance. We had no power for about 12 hours, our next door neighbors (whose house had one of our trees on it) are still in the dark. Two of the trees were as old as the house (1941) and one was a rare tree, one of the few Cork Oaks in Phoenix. Susan was in bed in the room adjacent to the roof collapse. Fortunately no one go hurt. We have a neighbor who has lived here all his life (born in 57) and he said it was the worst storm he has ever seen.
